A Few Things About Mesick Mold Company - Our History

In 1966, Chancy Spencer started the Mesick Mold Company in his garage. He began by building prototypes for the rubber industry.

In 1978 this building was built; just outside the Village of Mesick, at this time Mesick Mold employed five people.

In 1988 and 1989 an expansion was made to the office and to the manufacturing facility.

In 1984 Mesick Mold purchased their first CNC Machine and now have twelve machining centers.

In 1998, Mesick Mold purchased the building next to Mesick Mold and began prototyping plastic tools. This quickly grew into more than prototyping and Spencer Plastic's was incorporated. We now have seven presses ranging from 35 to 385 ton. Every plastic tool is sampled before being sent to the customer.

In 2010, Mesick Mold purchased a 400 ton rubber injection press to expand our customer services. Every rubber mold is sampled by a highly trained processor before the tool is sent to the customer.

Currently, Mesick Mold is capable of providing it's customers with a wide range of service both in the rubber and plastic industry. From the start of design, to the tool build and the actual running of the mold. We now employ thirty highly skilled designers, programmers, toolmakers and processors.
